What All Couples Need to consider BEFORE Getting Pregnant.

Parasites. Are they preventing you from having a baby? Most people think that there’s no way they have parasites…until they start to detox properly and see the results for themselves (and usually start sending pictures…I’ll spare you this visual!)

First, let’s define what a parasite is: A parasite is an organism that lives on or inside another organism (the host) and benefits (for example, by getting nutrients) from the host at the host's expense.(1)

The common misconception that parasites are only associated with travel to remote areas of the world is unknowingly wreaking havoc on millions of people. But parasites are pretty clever. They know no boundaries and have innately evolved into international travelers with elite frequent-flyer status. Sure, they’re more common in obscure regions of the world, but can easily be found closer to home than you want to believe. Where, you ask? Well, lots of places:

  • Contaminated water

  • Pets

  • Seafood

  • Pork

  • Gardens

  • Vegetables

  • Waste

  • Sexual contact

  • Contaminated surfaces

  • Insects

There’s more, but you get the idea.

The important take-away is that parasites are everywhere, and if you have a strong immune system, you handle them efficiently to where they don’t cause any issues. But, when parasites do take up residency in your body, their unwelcome visit can cascade into a multitude of problems. Dr Jaban Moore mentions that 60-70% of people have parasites and most go untreated for many years, increasing their susceptibility to other infections and chronic illness. Some typical symptoms of parasitic infections are:

  • Hormonal imbalance

  • Infertility

  • Skin disorders

  • Sugar cravings

  • Food sensitivities

  • Nutrient deficiency

  • Poor sleep

  • Teeth grinding/clenching

  • Fatigue/weakness

  • Weight issues

  • Digestive disorders

  • Anxiety/depression

  • Gas/bloating/distention

  • Joint/body aches

This is not meant to raise fear or leave you feeling hopeless. This is to bring awareness to an epidemic that is silently harming people at an alarming rate around the globe.

So continue to kiss your dog, walk barefoot in your garden, jump in the lake…live your fullest life! Because the beautiful part of this is that you can take control to safely and naturally evict these critters and establish the foundation of a healthier body.

We have seen amazing results when addressing parasites with clients. Heather was a little skeptical in the beginning, but quickly discovered how parasites were contributing to her discomfort and imbalances.

In her words,

“...the stories of parasites are TRUE! Besides the evidence I was seeing in the toilet, I was noticing a huge shift in the way I felt. My skin was clearing up, I had more energy, and most of all, my “girl time” wasn’t painful anymore. Within 2 months of passing parasites, I GOT PREGNANT!”

After years of trying, Heather (41)  had given up on having a child of her own. You can imagine the joy she felt when she found out that simply detoxing her body would be the answer to her dreams. Her story is not unique. Toxicity in our air, water, food and environment is increasing at a faster rate than the body can keep up with. This layering of toxicity in humans is compounding by the minute and is compromising bodily systems and creating the most hospitable environment for parasitic infestation. We must address this head on and with a proven method that is safe for the body and in alignment with nature.

“If you have a pulse, you have parasites.” Dr Todd Watts

We have a simple motto here at SOHAM with regards to parasites and toxicity;

Better out than in.

If you’re struggling to conceive, or have any symptoms listed above, you may want to consider parasites as a contributing factor. They are more common than you think and their existence in your body could be costing you more than you know.
